Scottish Target Shooting, in partnership with sportscotland, is seeking to appoint:

A High Performance Manager

 

In this hands-on and challenging post, you will

 

  • Drive the delivery and manage the Scottish Target Shooting Operational Performance Plan (“The Plan”) for the period to 31 January 2011.  Develop and report on the management of The Plan for the three year period culminating at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi (India) in October 2010 and including the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championship Games also in New Delhi in February 2010. 
  • Work in partnership with Performance Discipline Coaches and other support staff.
  • Negotiate, co-ordinate and implement a comprehensive plan for athlete training and preparation liaising with the Performance Director of British Shooting as necessary in respect of all Scottish (Great Britain) Pathway Programme athletes. 

·         To prepare and co-ordinate draft and Final Operational Performance Plans for the period from 1 February 2011 to 31 January 2015.

 

To be considered you should be able to demonstrate:

 

·         Proven outcomes at elite level sport.

·         Experience of managing and implementing training and development plans to a national level.

·         Hold a current Coaching Certificate.

·         Be enthusiastic & self motivated.

·         Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

·         Have a proven record of achievement in target shooting.

·         Have a current driving licence

 

Salary £7,200 per annum – Part Time. Self employed basis. Hourly rate negotiable
